A growing hospitality group is launching an exciting new flagship venue in Central London and is looking for a General Manager to lead the front of house operation from day one. This is not a standard management role. The business is already well known for premium specialty drinks and is now launching a brand-new concept combining:

  • Specialty coffee & premium beverages
  • Full restaurant service
  • Brunch offering
  • Afternoon small plates & bites
  • Premium tea programme
  • Events and corporate opportunities

This is a beautiful, high-energy venue designed to be an all-day destination.

The Role

As General Manager, you will lead the front of house team and overall guest experience. You will work closely with:

  • Head Chef
  • Head of Coffee

Together, you will form the senior leadership team for this flagship site. This is a highly hands-on role. We are looking for someone who loves being on the floor, leading from the front, building team culture, and creating an exceptional guest experience.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading day-to-day front of house operations
  • Managing and developing a team of around 10
  • Driving service standards and guest satisfaction
  • Training and coaching a young team
  • Building local business relationships and partnerships
  • Driving weekday and weekend sales growth
  • Supporting events and private bookings
  • Helping establish the venue as a go-to destination in the area

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Currently a General Manager or strong Assistant General Manager ready to step up
  • From a restaurant background with full table service experience
  • Passionate about hospitality and service standards
  • Hands-on and visible on the floor
  • Commercially aware and sales driven
  • Great with people, warm, energetic, and proactive
  • Confident managing younger teams and developing talent
  • Coffee experience is a bonus, but not essential. Training can be provided for the right person.
