We're supporting a fast-growing QSR brand as they continue to expand their franchise network across the UK. As part of this growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Area Manager / Franchise Business Consultant to support, coach, and elevate performance across the Northwest region. Reporting into the Senior Operations Manager, this role is focused on driving standards, commercial performance, and brand consistency across a predominantly franchised estate. This is not a traditional “policing” role — it's about partnership, influence, and helping franchisees run stronger, more profitable businesses. The environment is entrepreneurial, evolving, and pace-driven. You'll play a key role in translating brand strategy into great execution on the ground, while feeding insight and best practice back into the wider business.
The Role
- Act as the primary operational point of contact for franchise partners across the Northwest
- Support franchisees to deliver strong operational, commercial, and people performance
- Coach and influence Store Managers and franchise partners to raise standards and capability
- Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, food quality, service, and compliance
- Use KPIs, audits, and data to identify performance gaps and agree improvement plans
- Support franchisees with labour planning, cost control, and profitability
- Drive continuous improvement while respecting the franchise partnership model
- Act as the link between Head Office and the field, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Support new openings, transitions, and growth activity within the region
About You
This role will suit someone who:
- Has multi-site QSR or high-volume hospitality experience
- Understands the dynamics of franchise operations and influencing without direct control
- Is commercially aware and confident discussing performance, margins, and KPIs
- Enjoys coaching, problem-solving, and building strong long-term relationships
- Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, scaling business
- Leads with credibility, balance, and pragmatism
- Is hands-on, adaptable, and solutions-focused
You don't need to have all the answers, you need judgement, influence, and the ability to move things forward.
What's on Offer
- Salary up to £50,000, depending on experience
- Opportunity to work closely with a Senior Operations Manager in a high-growth brand
- High levels of autonomy and regional ownership
- Strong exposure to franchise operations and network growth
