Bitdefender is hiring a Sales Engineer to join our UK & Ireland Sales Engineering team, part of the EMEA & SEA SE organization. This is a customer-facing technical role where you’ll own the technical aspects of opportunities, acting as a trusted security advisor to customers and partners.
What You’ll Do
- Own the technical side of sales opportunities, from discovery through validation
- Deliver product demos, technical deep dives, and Proof of Concepts
- Advise customers on how Bitdefender solutions address security, risk, and compliance challenges across on-prem and cloud environments
- Lead technical discussions, solution design, and validation activities
- Support RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires
- Build strong technical relationships with customers and partners
- Deliver partner technical training and enablement sessions
- Engage with internal teams (Sales, Product, R&D) to support customer success
- Participate in industry events and partner activities
What You Bring
- 2–3+ years’ experience in security pre-sales / sales engineering
- Hands-on knowledge of Endpoint Security, EDR/XDR, SIEM, Email Security, and Threat Intelligence
- Experience securing and supporting Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms and security concepts (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of risk management, compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO, NIST, GDPR, DORA, NIS2), and security governance
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Microsoft, Nutanix)
- Familiarity with containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Customer-focused, collaborative, and technically curious
- Willingness to travel (~50%)
