The Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic BreakfastWaiter/Waitress to join our Food & Beverage team at an established Londonprivate members' club.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who hasprevious experience working within a similar premium hospitality environmentand understands the importance of delivering an exceptional breakfastexperience.
The successful candidate will take pride in providing warm,attentive and professional service, ensuring that every member and guestreceives a consistently high standard of hospitality from the moment theyarrive.
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will play animportant role in the smooth running of the breakfast operation, demonstratingexcellent product knowledge, attention to detail and a genuine passion forservice.
Key Responsibilities
Member & Guest Experience
- Delivera warm, professional and personalised welcome to all members and theirguests.
- Buildpositive relationships with members, recognising regular guests andunderstanding their individual preferences.
- Maintaina visible and attentive presence throughout the breakfast service.
- Anticipatemember requirements and respond promptly to requests.
- Handlefeedback and any service concerns professionally, escalating whereappropriate.
- Maintainthe discretion, etiquette and standards expected within a private members'club.
Breakfast Service & Operations
- Setup and prepare the restaurant and breakfast service areas to the requiredstandards.
- Ensuretables, crockery, cutlery, glassware and service stations are presentedimpeccably.
- Welcomemembers, present menus and confidently explain breakfast dishes and dailyspecials.
- Takefood and beverage orders accurately and communicate effectively with thekitchen.
- Deliverfood and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation and servicestandards are maintained.
- Maintaina clean, organised and well-presented restaurant throughout service.
- Ensuretables are cleared, reset and prepared promptly.
- Maintainawareness of dietary requirements, allergies and food intolerances,following the club's procedures.
- Completeopening, closing and side duties as required.
Teamwork & Communication
- Workcollaboratively with colleagues across Food & Beverage, Kitchen andother operational departments.
- Maintainclear and effective communication during busy service periods.
- Supportcolleagues and contribute positively to the wider team environment.
- Demonstrateflexibility and a willingness to assist with other areas of the operationwhen required.
- Attenddepartmental briefings and training sessions.
Standards, Health & Safety
- Maintainthe highest standards of personal presentation, grooming and uniform.
- Followall food safety, hygiene, health and safety procedures.
- Ensureall service areas remain clean, safe and organised.
- Adhereto club policies, procedures and operating standards.
- Maintainconfidentiality and discretion when interacting with members and guests.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previousexperience in a Breakfast Waiter/Waitress position within a premium hotel,private members' club or comparable high-end restaurant environment.
- Aminimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Astrong understanding of traditional and contemporary breakfast service.
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidentfood and beverage knowledge, with the ability to make recommendations.
- Anunderstanding of table service etiquette and premium hospitalitystandards.
- Goodknowledge of food allergies, dietary requirements and food safety.
- Abilityto work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Aproactive, organised and positive approach to work.
- Fluentspoken English and the confidence to communicate with an internationalmembership.
