Hours: 9am-5:30pm (Mon-Thu), 9am-5pm (Fri) and as required by the function of the position.
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and grow assigned key accounts, ensuring strong client relationships and repeat business.
- Lead tender responses, including narrative development, pricing alignment, and internal coordination.
- Deliver client presentations and pitches at senior stakeholder and Board level.
- Collaborate with A&D team to secure Bisley specifications prior to tender release.
- Coordinate Day 2 supply, contract delivery, and ongoing O&M requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales, A&D, Public Sector Manager, OEMs, Dealers, D&B customers) to resolve project conflicts and ensure smooth delivery.
- Regularly conduct client business reviews, identifying growth opportunities and aligning solutions with client needs.
- Support, mentor, and share knowledge with colleagues, fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Represent Bisley at industry events, meetings, and customer visits nationally.
Targets and measurements:
- Achievement of agreed annual sales turnover and margin contribution.
- Delivery of new business targets across tenders, frameworks, and major projects.
- Evidence of sustainable client relationship growth and cross-sector expansion.
- Accuracy, timeliness, and quality of tender submissions and proposals.
- Effective use of CRM and internal systems to accurately track pipeline and performance.

Education and qualifications:
- Educated to graduate standard or demonstrable to A Level standard or equivalent β Essential.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Experience of working in a sales environment β Essential.
- Knowledge of company sales systems and procedures β Essential.
- Understanding of pricing structures, policies and presentation β Essential.
- Product knowledge β manufactured and third party products; features and benefits β Essential.
- Can confidently use Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint β Essential.
- Full understanding of the office furniture market including sales channels, companies, and products β Essential.
- Evidence of having developed compelling RFIs and new tender submissions for major projects β Essential.
- Evidence of having autonomously developed and grown existing customer relationships to achieve growth targets β Essential.
- An understanding of complexities of the storage sector β Desirable.
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in a similar role β Desirable.
Training will be provided for the following:
- An in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing methods, the technical specification, and the possibilities and constraints of key products and the ability to discuss options and advise customers on possible solutions.
- Tender management, production, and presentation, specific to the existing Company strategy and processes.
- Knowledge of pricing and sourcing information from main system.
- Internal systems (order, manufacturing, and invoicing process; production appreciations, CRM system).
