Apply for the Waiter/Waitress role at Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa. As a member of Waiting or Bar Staff you will play a key role in providing amazing experiences for our guests. You will be the face of our business for every guest that walks through our door so we’re looking for waiting staff who enjoy people and are passionate about delivering the highest standards of guest service.
Responsibilities
- Provide a friendly, personalised welcome to guests
- Prepare and set up the restaurant
- Offer an attentive food and beverage service to guests
- Promote food and beverage offers and up-sell
- Tidy and clean the restaurant following service
- Work as part of a team to ensure departmental targets are achieved
- Cover breakfast shifts (typically 07:00-15:00) and evening shifts (typically 15:00-23:00); split shifts (07:00/18:00) occur occasionally
- Accept regular weekend shifts
- Own transport is beneficial due to location
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferable but not essential
- A willingness to learn and a hands-on approach
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Team-player with initiative and a smart personal appearance
Hours and Pay
We have full and part-time positions available, including bank holidays and weekend working on a shift basis due to the nature of our business. We are offering a competitive rate of pay.
