With over 190 employees, including 80 qualified property lawyers, the firm is recognized for its expert legal advice and commitment to client satisfaction. Dedicated to recruiting top legal talent, Bishopsgate Law offers hybrid working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a competitive salary structure, all while fostering a supportive work environment. As the firm continues to grow, we are looking to recruit an additional Senior Operations Executive to join our Operations team at Bishopsgate Law. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer (minimum 5 years PQE) who is looking to move away from a traditional fee-earning role and into a more strategic, analytical and operational position within a fast-paced conveyancing firm.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside the wider management team to support the operational oversight of the firm. This role will play a key part in supporting operational decision-making, risk management, technical oversight and wider strategic development across the firm. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the team on policy decisions and operational improvements across the firm.
  • Supporting fee earners through training, development and technical guidance.
  • Providing final sign-off on matters prior to exchange of contracts.
  • Managing complex issues working proactively with fee earners to move matters forward effectively.
  • Supporting risk management and quality assurance across the conveyancing process.
  • Working alongside senior leadership on systems development, operational improvements and long-term strategic projects.
  • Helping drive consistency, accountability and operational excellence across the department.

We’re looking for someone with strong technical conveyancing knowledge, excellent risk assessment skills, sound judgement and the ability to remain calm and objective under pressure. The role requires someone who is collaborative, solutions-focused and genuinely invested in supporting both the firm and the wider team. This position would particularly suit someone who enjoys the technical and strategic side of conveyancing and is looking for a fresh challenge outside of billing targets and traditional caseload management.
