Manor Fields Primary School is seeking an exceptional Office Manager and Headteacher's PA to lead our administration function and provide high-quality, confidential support to the Headteacher. This is a key leadership role within the school office, suited to a highly organised, proactive and professional administrator who thrives in a busy school environment and enjoys being at the centre of school life. You will be the first point of contact for many pupils, parents and visitors, and play a vital role in shaping the welcoming, inclusive ethos of our school.
This dual role combines strategic office leadership with personal assistant support to the Headteacher. You will:
- Provide a confidential and professional PA service to the Headteacher, managing diaries, correspondence, emails and meetings
- Lead and manage the school's administrative staff, including performance management
- Oversee the smooth running of the school office, ensuring high standards of organisation, communication and customer service
- Coordinate supply cover to ensure the school is fully staffed at all times
- Co‑ordinate admissions processes for Nursery and Reception, working closely with admissions partners
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, Health & Safety and statutory requirements
- Maintain accurate pupil records, oversee the School Census and manage school communications
- Be a positive, professional and welcoming presence for pupils, staff and visitors
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Is highly organised, calm and resilient, with excellent time‑management skills
- Has strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT systems, experience with school management software is an advantage
- Has strong communication skills and enjoys working with a wide range of people
- Is proactive, flexible and able to work independently using their own initiative
- Has experience in a school office or similar administrative environment (highly desirable)
- Has a strong understanding of confidentiality, GDPR and safeguarding
- Is committed to the wellbeing, safety and success of all pupils
- Takes pride in their work and strives for the highest standards
