As part of our caring, compassionate approach, we are seeking an organised and proactive Medical Officer to support the health, safety and wellbeing of our students. As part of our Student Services team, you will manage the school’s Medical Welfare Room, provide first aid to students and staff, maintain medical records and ensure the smooth coordination of student health provision across the school.
You will also play a key role in liaising with parents, healthcare professionals and staff to ensure the best possible care and safeguarding for students. This varied role combines first aid support, student welfare and administrative responsibilities. You will coordinate vaccination programmes, support students with medical needs, maintain accident and incident records, manage medical supplies and ensure compliance with school policies and health and safety requirements.
The successful candidate will be calm, compassionate and highly organised, with strong communication skills and the ability to respond effectively to both routine and urgent situations. Experience in a school or educational setting and a First Aid at Work qualification (or willingness to obtain one) would be advantageous.
