We are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to begin in September 2026 at a vibrant 11‑18 Secondary School. The role involves maintaining and managing the school’s finances efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, providing high‑level support to students, staff, governors, parents and visitors, and working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient maintenance and day‑to‑day management of the school’s finances.
  • Provide supportive financial services to students, staff, governors, parents, and visitors.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team and independently as required.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and comply with financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Highly motivated with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred experience in a financial or banking environment or in a school finance office.
  • Sound working knowledge of Excel and spreadsheets.
  • Understanding of data privacy and related compliance requirements.

Successful candidates will be expected to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
