Location: St Philip Neri Catholic Primary School, Ellison Road, Dunston, Tyne & Wear NE8 2QU

Grade: Grade B, SCP 3 (Β£24,796 per annum, pro rata)

Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday- Friday, 3pm-6pm, Term Time Only (38 weeks), Fixed Term until 31/03/2027)

St Philip Neri has established wraparound provision for children aged 4-11. We have an exciting opportunity for a Wraparound Care Assistant to join our welcoming team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of the children in wraparound provision.

We are seeking an individual to:

  • Provide a high standard of care for children in wraparound provision.
  • Work as part of a team to provide and maintain an enabling, stimulating, safe environment.
  • Build and maintain a strong working partnership with parents and carers.
  • Ensure the wraparound provision is run to meet the needs of the children and complies with all necessary compliance legislation and policies.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of Grade C Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
  • An understanding of the needs of children.
  • An ability to work within a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organisation skills.
