We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of English to join from September 2026.
Responsibilities
We wish to appoint a committed and highly effective teacher to teach English across our key stages. You should be educated to degree level and hold qualified teacher status (QTS) as well as having experience of teaching English to KS3, KS4 and possibly KS5. The successful applicant is expected to facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential as well as contribute to raising standards of student attainment.

We are proud to be part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, a family of secondary, middle, primary and first schools in Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. Bishop Wilkinson is the largest catholic education trust in the North East of England and will have a total of 48 schools. This is an exciting time to join our supportive, and growing team.
