Location: St Bede’s Catholic School and Sixth Form College, Consett Road, Lanchester, Durham, DH7 0RD

Grade: MPS/UPS (£32,916-£51,048 per annum)

Hours: Full Time, Permanent from September 2026.

Overview: St Bede’s Catholic School and Sixth Form College is part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, the largest Catholic education trust in the North East. The trust includes 48 schools across Durham, Gateshead, Northumberland and Sunderland. St Bede’s is a highly successful, oversubscribed school within easy travelling distance of Durham, Newcastle and Sunderland.

Position: We wish to appoint an outstanding teacher of Physics. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and, together with members of the Science department, maintain a relentless focus on raising achievement and improving life chances. The successful candidate will teach across the Key Stages.
