An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and dedicated Teacher of Art and Design to join our school in September 2026. The successful candidate will be joining a very well established and high achieving Department with an extensive and diverse curriculum, offering Fine Art, Photography, Textile Design and Graphic Communication at both GCSE and A level. This is a temporary post until 31 August 2027.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a strong classroom practitioner who can motivate young people of all abilities and will be able to work well as part of a dynamic hardworking team who put teaching and learning at the forefront of everything that they do. You will contribute to the development of an excellent standard of teaching within the Art department. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach Technology at Key Stage 3, where required. You will be passionate about raising the achievement of all students, particularly the disadvantaged, including those with SEND.
