The Role
Bishop Nick is an award-winning, independent, family-run brewery with deep roots in great beer. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced, confident and personable sales-focused individual to join our office team. This role sits at the heart of our operations, keeping regular contact with pubs and bottle stockists – checking in regularly and taking/processing orders and working closely with our field-based sales representative to ensure customers are well looked after and that everything flows seamlessly from brew schedule to delivery. You’ll be the driving force behind growing our customer base, strengthening trade relationships and representing Bishop Nick with warmth, confidence and authenticity. Alongside this, you’ll help keep the office organised, systems up to date and support the wider team with admin, online sales and the on-site brewery shop.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Customer Relationships & Sales Support
- Regularly contact trade customers (pubs, clubs & bottle stockists) to take orders, promote our brands and maintain relationships
- Handle incoming trade and retail orders and enquiries by phone and email
- Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth fulfilment (This is a relationship-led, consultative role — not hard selling)
- Maintain and update the brewery management system (training provided)
- Update brew schedules, product listings and stock levels
- Process orders, print dispatch paperwork and assist with delivery planning
- Keep customer and contact databases up to date
- General office administration and filing
- Answer and field incoming calls
- Order stationery and office supplies
- Keep the office organised and running efficiently
- Assist with online order fulfilment and courier bookings
- Support the brewery shop when required — taking payments, recording sales and keeping displays tidy
- Assist with our annual Father’s Day event (Revelry Day)
- Help co-ordinate occasional Brew Day Experiences and brewery tours
About You
You’ll fit right in if you:
- Enjoy speaking to customers and building rapport
- Have a friendly telephone manner and a good sense of humour
- Have experience in sales, account management or customer order processing
- Are highly organised, efficient and calm under pressure
- Have excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Pick up new systems easily (training provided)
- Are reliable, flexible and happy to muck in as part of a small team
Nice to have:
- Interest in the Real Ale / brewing industry
- Experience with basic financial data entry (QuickBooks or similar)
Benefits and allowances
- 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays
- Generous discount on beer
- Company pension contribution
- Branded t-shirt and fleece
- Free parking on site
