The Risk and Compliance Executive position presents an exceptional opportunity to gain business-wide insight and to provide advice and solutions across a variety of regulatory and compliance areas. The Risk function plays a vital role within Bishop Fleming to underpin the business and maintain regulatory and quality standards as it carries out its strategic growth.

As a Risk Executive you will have varied and significant responsibilities. The role involves operating across a range of different topics and applying analytical and problem-solving skills daily. The Risk Executive is a key member of our inclusive and supportive central Risk team.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Compliance, assurance and ICAEW regulation in a growing accountancy firm including regulatory reporting
  • Financial crime management including anti-money laundering (AML)
  • Client onboarding risk and KYC processes
  • Professional indemnity insurance review, case management and support
  • Risk management and business continuity activities
  • Data privacy and data protection compliance
About You

  • Experience working in a similar Risk and Compliance role, or a newly qualified Auditor with a strong interest in getting involved with Risk and Compliance

Experience required

This role is particularly suited to people who are already working in a Risk, Compliance, Regulatory or Audit role within a Professional Services firm or in the Financial Services sector. Individuals with the following career background: accountant with regulation and compliance experience, regulatory compliance specialist, compliance administrator, paralegal, are encouraged to apply.
