St Leonard’s Catholic Primary School is a small and welcoming one form entry Primary School in Silksworth. We are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join our school community. You will work closely alongside the Headteacher, Office Manager, Governors and Trust Central Team to shape and drive the vision of the school to achieve the best possible outcomes for pupils, parents, families and staff.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Routine general clerical, administrative and reception support to the Office Manager and Headteacher.
Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust safeguards and protects its students and staff by being committed to respond in accordance with Sunderland Child Protection Procedures. Enhanced DBS checks are mandatory for all school staff.
Contract: 20 hours per week, term time only, Permanent
The successful candidate will commence in this role on the provisional grade/salary indicated. The post is currently under job evaluation, and any adjustment to the grade or pay following the evaluation will be applied in accordance with the outcome.
The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory Enhanced DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of pre-employment checks.
