St James Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint a Class Teacher to work under the direction of our Headteacher and Governing body to provide an outstanding education for our children.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an outstanding education for pupils under the direction of the Headteacher and Governing Body.
  • Deliver teaching that supports pupils in achieving high standards and progress.
  • Contribute to a Christ-centred community and create a positive learning environment.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, our Parish and the school community.
  • Contribute to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults as part of the school team.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • DBS check and pre-employment checks are required as part of the role.

The position is Full time/Temporary Maternity Cover until 31 August 2027. Start Date: September 2026.
