We are seeking a passionate and committed Wellbeing Intervention Officer to join our Student Services team at Bishop Burton College. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to supporting young people, with a strong understanding of safeguarding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive, professional relationships. You will be resilient, empathetic and motivated, with experience of working with young people and a genuine interest in promoting mental health and wellbeing.
As a Wellbeing Intervention Officer, you will play a key role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will provide one-to-one interventions, deliver wellbeing activities and events, and work closely with curriculum teams, parents/carers and external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, contributing to enrichment opportunities, supporting student voice initiatives, and promoting a safe, inclusive and student-focused environment.
Based at our Bishop Burton Campus, you will be part of a dedicated Student Services and Wellbeing team that works collaboratively across the college, and at times across both Bishop Burton and Riseholme campuses. You will contribute to a supportive and engaging environment, helping to ensure that every student feels valued, safe and able to succeed.
