In this varied and hands‑on role, you will support the day‑to‑day operation of our sporting facilities, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard and provide a safe, welcoming environment for students, staff and external users. You will play a key role in supporting sporting activities, coordinating bookings, and delivering excellent customer service across both Bishop Burton and Riseholme campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up, and dismantle sports facilities and equipment
- Ensure all facilities are clean, safe, and maintained to a high standard
- Support match days, events, and sports camps
- Deliver gym inductions and basic fitness programmes
- Provide a high level of customer service to all users
- Manage bookings, memberships, and enquiries using internal systems
- Carry out routine checks and report maintenance issues
- Assist with the promotion and development of sports facilities and memberships
