Do you believe that progress looks different for every learner? Are you motivated by helping young people build confidence, develop independence and recognise what they can achieve? Join our Foundation Studies team at Riseholme College.

You’re a patient, creative and encouraging teacher or trainer who takes time to understand each learner. You can adapt your approach, build positive relationships and create a classroom where students feel supported and ready to learn. You bring resilience, clear expectations and an enthusiasm for celebrating achievements, both big and small.

You might currently be teaching in a college, school, specialist setting or with a training provider, helping learners develop the skills they need for their next step. You’ll bring experience in teaching or training, a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, and a teaching qualification—or a willingness to work towards one.

At Riseholme, you’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess and track progress, and tailor learning to individual needs. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll support students’ wellbeing, encourage positive behaviour and help them prepare for further learning, employment and adult life.

Choose Riseholme College for the opportunity to make a lasting difference within an inclusive, learner-centred Foundation Studies department. You’ll join a team that works collaboratively to build students’ confidence, resilience and independence, with opportunities to bring creativity and practical learning into your teaching.

If you’re ready to help learners discover their strengths and take their next steps, we’d love to hear from you.
