Can you turn complex data into clear, useful information that helps people make better decisions? Bishop Burton College is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to help shape how we use data across the College.

You may currently be working as a BI Developer, Data Analyst or Reporting Specialist within education, the public sector or a commercial organisation. You will have experience of developing Power BI dashboards, using DAX and Power Query, and working with SQL and data models. Alongside your technical skills, you will bring curiosity, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information simply.

You will enjoy working with colleagues to understand the decisions they need to make, then developing dashboards that give them meaningful answers. You will be confident checking data accuracy, investigating inconsistencies and creating reports that are easy for non-technical users to understand.

Joining our Data & Reporting team within MIS and Admissions, you will play a key part in a College-wide programme to improve and consolidate our dashboards. You will rebuild existing reports, develop new solutions and help establish consistent design standards, reducing duplication and making information more accessible and useful.

At Bishop Burton College, your work will have a clear purpose: helping staff understand student information, improve operational performance and make informed decisions. This is an opportunity to influence how business intelligence develops across the College, contribute your ideas and see your technical expertise support an educational community.

If you take pride in accurate, well-designed reporting and want to help colleagues turn insight into action, we would love to hear from you.
