We are seeking a UK based, motivated and operations‑focused Junior Network Engineer to join our growing team. This role is central to ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our network infrastructure. As we expand, you will play a critical part in maintaining our network and providing expert‑level support for both internal teams and external partners. The JNE role also involves collaborating with team members to optimize server performance for a seamless gaming experience, ensuring high reliability and low‑latency service delivery. This is a full‑time remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with colocation partners and upstream providers to ensure network reliability and performance.
- Respond to network incidents, conducting investigations, implementing resolutions, or escalating as appropriate.
- Provide 3rd‑line network support to internal support teams.
- Coordinate with datacentre remote hands for physical troubleshooting and remediation.
- Ensure that all network device configurations align with intended design specifications.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date network documentation and device inventory.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance windows, including configuration deployments and device software upgrades.
