Since 2007, we've been hand-icing joy into every biscuit, and in 2025 alone, we iced approximately 3 million! Our aim is to provide a seamless, joyful experience that delivers a little magic, one hand-iced biscuit at a time. As well as our eCommerce business, we have a Notting Hill biscuit boutique, where we offer 'School of Icing' events, teaching our customers to ice like an expert, while they enjoy a cup of tea or coffee...or even a glass of Prosecco. We also work with a huge range of wholesale and corporate clients, creating bespoke and branded designs for every occasion.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fixed term Contract as a Maternity Cover Boutique Manager in our Icing Café and Boutiques, in Notting Hill. As a key part of our dedicated team, you will oversee the successful running of the store, making sure we meet targets and offer a great shopping experience to all our visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Café & Events Operations
- Oversee the day‐to‐day running of the café service and all events, including afternoon teas, hen parties, children's parties, and birthday celebrations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and act as a role model for service standards.
- Manage customer orders and respond effectively to customer feedback.
- Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Manage staffing rotas and ensure appropriate resourcing levels.
- Oversee staff development and training, including performance conversations and absence management.
- Sales & Business Performance
- Drive product sales and work proactively to meet and exceed targets.
- Support promotional, marketing, and event activities in collaboration with HQ teams.
- Stock & Boutique Standards
- Control stock levels, manage deliveries, and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure the Boutique and café are beautifully presented, clean, and welcoming at all times.
- Compliance & Safety
- Take responsibility for all security procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Food Safety standards.
You will need:
- At least 2 years' supervisory or managerial experience within a premium or luxury retail environment.
- A natural ability to engage with customers and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Confidence in driving sales performance and achieving targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport effortlessly.
- Flexibility to work weekends and adjust your schedule around events and shop opening hours.
- A positive, proactive, and hands‐on approach to all aspects of the role.
