What if you could help build the next great consumer brand from day one? We are delighted to be partnering with an exciting, mission-driven premium chocolate brand as it prepares for its UK launch. Working directly with farming communities around the world, the business is committed to bringing exceptional, clean cacao to consumers while supporting farmers to cultivate a wider variety of heirloom and non-commercial cacao. With no palm oil or unnecessary additives, the brand combines exceptional products with a genuine commitment to creating positive impact.
Having invested significantly in bringing this vision to life, the founder is now looking to make their very first UK hire. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to join at the beginning and play a pivotal role in bringing the business to life. Working directly with the founder, you'll take ownership across operations, commercial projects, product launches, retail partnerships and brand growth. You'll have genuine autonomy and broad responsibility from day one. One day you might be analysing Shopify performance; the next, planning a product launch, speaking with fulfilment partners, supporting retailer conversations or solving an operational challenge. As the business grows, your role will evolve with it.
Responsibilities will include:
- Partner directly with the founder across day-to-day business operations
- Help launch and scale the UK business
- Own operational projects from concept through to execution
- Monitor and improve Shopify performance and customer journey
- Analyse sales, operational and customer data to identify opportunities
- Manage relationships with logistics, fulfilment and external partners
- Support conversations with retailers, distributors and commercial partners
- Coordinate product launches, campaigns and marketing initiatives
- Build scalable processes, systems and reporting
- Solve problems proactively and continually improve the way the business operates
What we are looking for:
- Ideally 5-10 years' experience within a fast-growing consumer brand
- Experience within FMCG brands, premium food & drink, wellness, beauty, direct-to-consumer brands or sustainable consumer products
- First-hand experience of what it takes to launch, build or scale a consumer brand
- Entrepreneurial, commercially minded and excited by the opportunity to take broad ownership
- Someone who is comfortable operating without a detailed playbook and enjoys figuring things out
- A genuine interest in building a business with positive social and environmental impact
You may currently be working within a larger organisation and be ready to move into something more entrepreneurial, where you'll have greater ownership and a direct impact on the growth of the business.
