With around 50 employees and exciting expansion plans, they're looking to appoint a dedicated

Operations and HR Manager

. This is a fantastic position offering the opportunity to build the role from the ground up, shape internal processes and become the operational heartbeat of a growing business.

Reporting into the COO, you'll oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the 5 offices while taking ownership of the entire HR function across multiple UK sites, managing the junior administrator, and guiding the COO and Founder on HR policies and procedures, helping with strategy, people administration and supporting the employee experience.

You'll quickly become the go-to person across the business, ensuring operations run efficiently and colleagues feel supported as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities will include

  • Office Operations
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the offices and business operations.
  • Develop and improve operational processes that support a growing business.
  • Oversee office facilities, suppliers, equipment and workplace services including contract negotiation
  • Support budgeting, cost control and general business administration.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, GDPR and health & safety requirements.
  • Coordinate an upcoming office move and support future workplace initiatives.
  • Act as the central point of contact across the business, helping teams stay organised and connected.
  • Roll up your sleeves and support wherever needed, from solving operational challenges to keeping the office fully stocked and running smoothly.
  • HR & People
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle for a 50-strong workforce across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate recruitment, including advertising roles, arranging interviews and supporting hiring managers.
  • Be the first point of contact for HR queries across the business.
  • Support employee relations, absence management and people processes, including disciplinary and grievance.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure policies remain compliant with UK employment legislation.
  • Manage payroll information, pensions and employee benefits administration.
  • Support managers with day-to-day people matters.
  • Help drive employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives and a positive company culture.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in an Senior HR Generalist position, ideally within a growing SME or entrepreneurial business.
  • Excellent working knowledgeof HRand UK employment best practice.
  • A proactive, positive approach and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships across every level of the business.
  • Excellent judgement and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • CIPD Level 5 ideally
