We’re working with a long-established, founder-led investment firm based in Central London, looking to appoint an Admin Assistant into their close-knit support team. While highly successful and well-respected in the industry, the culture remains intentionally understated. It is a calm, stable and highly discreet environment where people are trusted to take ownership and do things properly. Loyalty is strong across the business, with many employees staying for the long term.
This role sits within the heart of the support function and offers a broad mix of administrative responsibilities across both the business and the firm’s charitable foundation. It would suit someone who enjoys structured, meaningful work and is looking for a long-term role with genuine development potential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing general administrative support across the business
- Coordinating diaries, meetings and preparing agendas
- Producing and formatting board packs and key documents
- Supporting the firm’s charitable foundation, including grant administration
- Processing expenses, receipts and wider finance administration
- Managing office supplies and day-to-day operational tasks
- Assisting with reception cover during staff absences
- Supporting ad hoc team and project work as required
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in an administrative, office support or coordination role
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A reliable, steady and proactive approach to work
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A positive, down-to-earth attitude and willingness to get involved where needed
- Someone who enjoys structure, routine and being a dependable part of a small team
- Charity or not-for-profit experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Ambition to develop into a PA role over time would be welcomed
Hybrid: Monday & Friday working from home. This opportunity would suit someone with prior administrative or charity experience who takes pride in accuracy, organisation and reliability, and is interested in developing into a PA role over time.
