Our client, a forward-thinking boutique financial services firm, is seeking a polished and proactive Front of House Receptionist to join their close-knit team.

This is a key Front of House role, working across two offices, where you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and suppliers while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office. You’ll take pride in creating a welcoming, organised and professional environment and enjoy being at the heart of a very busy office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the switchboard and acting as the main point of contact for incoming calls
  • Providing a warm, professional welcome to all visitors
  • Coordinating meeting rooms and ensuring spaces are prepared and well maintained
  • Setting up conference calls
  • Ordering lunches, serving refreshments and supporting meetings and events
  • Handling post, couriers, binding and general administration
  • Collating daily guest lists using Excel
  • Supporting the Office Manager with office coordination and contractor management
  • Maintaining office inventory and placing orders across two offices
  • Ensuring the reception area remains tidy and presentable at all times
  • Flexibility to work across offices when required

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally 1-2 years’ experience in a receptionist or office support role in a corporate office
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Professional, well-presented with a strong telephone manner
  • Proactive, reliable and comfortable taking initiative
  • Confident using Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively
