What if you could help build the next great consumer brand from day one? We are delighted to be partnering with an exciting mission-led premium chocolate company as it prepares for its UK launch. As the Founder's Associate, you will work side-by-side with the founder, taking ownership across operations, commercial projects, product launches, retail partnerships and brand growth as the business establishes itself in the UK. Having invested significantly in bringing this vision to life, the founder is now looking for their very first UK hire. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to join before launch and work directly alongside the founder as their trusted right hand. You'll have genuine autonomy, broad responsibility and the opportunity to help shape almost every aspect of the business as it grows. One day you might be analysing Shopify performance, the next planning a product launch, speaking with fulfilment partners, supporting retailer conversations or helping improve operational processes. As the business grows, your role will evolve with it!
Responsibilities will include:
- Partner directly with the founder across day-to-day business operations
- Help launch and scale the UK business
- Own operational projects from concept through to execution
- Monitor and improve Shopify performance and customer journey
- Analyse sales, operational and customer data to identify opportunities
- Manage relationships with logistics, fulfilment and external partners
- Support conversations with retailers, distributors and commercial partners
- Coordinate product launches, campaigns and marketing initiatives
- Build scalable processes, systems and reporting
- Solve problems proactively and continually improve the way the business operates
What we are looking for:
- Ideally 5-10 years' experience within a fast-growing consumer brand
- Experience within FMCG brands, Premium food & drink, Wellness, Beauty, Direct-to-consumer brands, Sustainable consumer products
- Experienced first-hand what it takes to build a brand
- Entrepreneurial, commercially minded and excited by building something meaningful from the ground up
- Someone who cares about creating positive social and environmental impact
