We’re partnering with a highly regarded, independent creative production company operating within the fashion and luxury sector, delivering innovative work for a globally recognised client base.
With offices in London and Paris, the business offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment at the intersection of creativity and production - and is now looking to hire a French-speaking Production Accountant, open to both developing and more experienced profiles.
This is a broad and hands-on role offering exposure across both UK and French entities. The team is open to:
- A more experienced Production Accountant / Bookkeeper who can take ownership quickly
- Or a high-potential graduate / junior candidate with relevant studies and some initial experience, looking to build a strong foundation
The role will be shaped accordingly, with the level of responsibility and support tailored to experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing or supporting the sales ledger, including invoicing and credit control
- Working on production accounting, including job costing, invoice allocation and job closures
- Assisting with or owning payment runs across UK and French entities
- Performing bank, credit card and intercompany reconciliations
- Supporting month-end processes, including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with French VAT (TVA) reporting and liaising with external accountants
- Supporting payroll processes, including freelancers in France
- Maintaining finance systems (Xero, Dext) and supporting wider operational tasks
What we are looking for:
We’re open to a range of profiles, but you will likely have:
- Fluent French, with strong English communication skills
- Experience in finance, accounting or bookkeeping (from internship level through to ideally 4+ years)
- Exposure to Xero (essential for more experienced candidates; advantageous for junior profiles)
- Experience with Dext or similar systems (a plus)
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar (particularly relevant for junior candidates)
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
What’s on Offer:
- The opportunity to either step into ownership or build a strong finance foundation
- Exposure to high-profile, global projects
- Hybrid working (2 days from home)
- Pension scheme and gym contribution
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where the role can evolve with you - whether you’re looking to deepen your existing experience or take the next step in your finance career.
