Reports to: R&D Controller
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage development projects with support from the R&D team, acting as the main contact internally and externally.
- Provide weekly updates via Launch Meetings, Trackers, and the C2L/Clarizen system.
- Coordinate artwork and packaging processes, ensuring alignment with customer timelines.
- Monitor product costs and advise on corrective actions.
- Support ingredient and process research to maintain competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Technical, and Marketing.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and legal standards.
- Drive sustainable packaging initiatives and support ESG policy.
Skills and Experience:
- Degree/HND in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
- Experience supporting R&D functions, ideally within the biscuit baking sector.
- Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and sensory analysis.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in IT and project management tools.
- Experience in industrial trials and cross-functional teamwork.
- Knowledge of project management and strategic planning.
- Experience with Clarizen or similar systems.
- Familiarity with customer codes of practice and sustainable packaging.
