We are currently looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our busy Corporate & Commercial team. Working in a small and passionate team, and reporting to the Head of Department, you will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to a range of clients.
Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Paralegal you will be responsible for delivering our mission of Great Service, Every Client, Every Time by taking a professional, client-first approach to every case. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To work primarily with the Head of the Corporate and Commercial team to deliver corporate services to clients.
- To assist the Head of the Corporate and Commercial team to effectively and efficiently manage her corporate caseload in relation to (but not limited to) the following types of transaction:
- Buying and selling companies
- Asset sales and purchases
- Drafting Shareholders Agreements and Articles of Association
- Advising on Facility Agreements, Debentures and Personal Guarantees
- Providing independent legal advice
- Advising on corporate restructuring
- Advising on, and negotiating, commercial contracts
Our ideal candidate will be someone with proven experience who takes a professional, client-first approach to each case they run. They will have sound knowledge and expertise in the field, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate in a friendly, professional and confidential manner. The role will suit those with a positive and flexible approach and an ability to remain calm under pressure in order to project the image and ethos of the firm at all times.
Whilst character is important to us, we do require a certain level of experience and qualification to succeed in this role. These are:
- A law degree (or appropriate equivalent qualification) would be beneficial
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a corporate paralegal
