A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an exceptional and experienced Private Executive Assistant to join a well-established private family office in St Johns Wood, London. This is a varied and fast-paced role supporting a busy principal and adult family members, with the opportunity to become a trusted and longstanding part of a well-run private environment.
This position requires a highly organised, proactive and discreet individual who thrives on supporting a busy family and ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
Responsibilities- Complex and ever-changing diary and inbox management across multiple stakeholders
- Coordinating international and domestic travel, events, and day-to-day schedule
- Full oversight of multiple properties, including a large, fully automated smart home and additional UK and international residences
- Acting as the central point of contact for contractors, suppliers, tenants, and household staff across all properties
- Managing maintenance schedules, coordinating works, and attending properties to facilitate access and ensure high standards are upheld
- Line managing household staff and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of each residence
- Overseeing property administration including documentation, inventories, and household systems
- Supporting refurbishment projects, troubleshooting basic smart home or plant systems, and ensuring properties are always prepared for the family’s use
- Handling confidential correspondence and wider personal and business administrative tasks
- 10+ years’ experience as an EA within private households or family offices, your CV will need to reflect longevity in your previous roles
- Experience managing properties in the UK and abroad
- Management of 2 x housekeepers and a gardener plus coordination of external contractors
- Highly discreet, professional, and solutions-focused
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail, you will be organising events, large and small and building a little black book of specialist caterers etc
- Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Comfortable with technology (Mac proficiency and smart home exposure an advantage)
- Pet-friendly and a confident driver - a car can be provided for errands
Full-time, London-based. Flexibility to work from home on occasion when appropriate. Some travel and light out-of-hours support as required.
