Summary:
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse operation. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you will take a hands-on leadership role, guiding warehouse teams to ensure the safe, efficient and accurate picking of goods ready for despatch.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that truly values its staff and customers, offering a supportive environment where teamwork, reliability, and high standards are at the heart of everything they do.
This role is working on the night shift, Sunday - Thursday, 6pm - 3am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the picking and packing of goods for despatch, helping to drive the team to meet KPIs.
- Conduct daily briefings, allocate tasks, and monitor team performance.
- Carry out HR related duties such as reviews and disciplinaries.
- Proactively drive continuous improvement to optimise efficiency and service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following health and safety regulations at all times.
Key Skills / Experience:
- At least 5 years previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a FMCG warehouse environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to manage, guide and support a team of 20+ staff.
- Able to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and able to use own initiative.
- Experience within a temperature-controlled operation is desirable, but not essential.
