Location: Tamworth/hybrid working

Salary: £35,000.00 - £40,000 + 10% bonus

Summary: Our client is a leading international logistics provider, offering integrated solutions across freight forwarding, supply chain management and value-added services. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Inside Sales Representative to join their UK Business Development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and customer research to identify new business opportunities
  • Identify, target and qualify potential customers, including financial credit checks
  • Make targeted outbound calls to generate and qualify sales leads
  • Support Business Development Sales Managers and Executives with administration and data analysis
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records in Dynamics CRM (training provided)
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of customer sales materials
  • Produce and support monthly Commercial management reports (training provided)
  • Analyse sales and customer data to support growth initiatives
  • Support BD campaigns and commercial initiatives
  • Build effective working relationships with internal teams including Operations, Finance and Product
  • Attend internal Commercial and Business Development meetings
  • Leverage the service network and capabilities to support successful client wins

Experience:

  • Experience working within the logistics industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence making outbound calls and engaging with customers
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience using CRM systems (Dynamics CRM preferred - training provided)
  • Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel within the UK when required
