We have a very exciting opportunity to join a European tier 1 automotive supplier in a new role as they establish their UK operation which will play a key role in shaping supply chain performance while driving operational excellence. As Supply Chain Manager you will have proven experience in establishing & developing supply chain operations and leading supply chain teams to lead and coordinate all Supply Chain activities in line with business objectives and customer requirements. Key responsibilities: Define and implement supply chain strategy in line with company and plant objectives Lead a cross-functional team and ensure alignment with KPIs and budget targets Manage end-to-end supply chain processes: inbound, inventory, outbound, and production planning Foster a lean culture and identify cost-saving opportunities Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder, including suppliers and customers Ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements Skills and Experience: Demonstrated experience in a supply chain management role, ideally within a matrix manufacturing organisation Experience gained within the automotive sector is highly desirable. Project management skills and experience in start up environments/setting up supply chain operations Adaptability to operate within an evolving operational structure Master\βs degree in Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent education or experience. A minimum of 3 years\β experience in a management role, 5 years in a Logistics environment.
