Summary: We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead a large-scale, 24/7 operation within a fast-paced environment. With responsibility for Operations and Transport managing a Team of 500+ is a high-impact role requiring a natural leader who can navigate complexity, drive change, and deliver operational excellence. This is not a "sit behind the desk" role - we're looking for someone who is visible, engaged, and thrives on being at the heart of the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of 500+ across a 24/7 operation
- Drive significant operational change, embedding structure, discipline, and consistency
- Implement robust processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and throughput
- Increase operational capacity and volume through continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure high standards of health safety, compliance, and operational performance
