As an Electrical Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained in optimal working condition. Using your technical skills and expertise, you will carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair work to support smooth and efficient operations. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify maintenance requirements and potential issues.
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance tasks, including lubricating machinery, replacing filters, and changing belts and hoses.
- Diagnose and complete electrical, mechanical, and general facility repairs as required.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot faults to implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and update the CMMS system with all completed work and identified issues.
- Conduct safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times.
