Our client is a dynamic logistics company, delivering integrated 3PL and supply chain solutions. They are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to expand their UK operations and to take a pivotal role at their Essex based hub and support future regional growth.
About the Role
You will ensure operational excellence and contractual compliance across the UK logistics activities. You will lead a motivated team, optimise performance, and maintain strong customer relationships while aligning with existing Group standards. You will assume full operational responsibility for this site and later contribute to the rollout of the logistics model across additional UK sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational leadership, managing and developing a team
- Managing and analysing KPIs and SLAs
- Ensure contractual compliance
- Undertake contract reviews and regular customer contact
- Manage operational budgets and monitor costs
- Analyse P&L performance and improve cost efficiency and profitability
- Monitor and improve warehouse performance and procedures
Experience
- Strong knowledge of WMS and MS Excel
- Previous operational and management experience in logistics or 3PL operations
- Proven staff management experience
- Good commercial knowledge and able to analyse P&L and budget management
- Previous experience in customer facing roles
