Much of its work involves the complex supply of industrial plant and equipment to sites and operations across a wide geographic territory. In this role you will work across a wide regional with a number of branches and a diverse fleet of vehicles. You will ensure the fleet operates safely and within the requisite legislation, but also take the initiative on on new projects. These will centre around new technology, cost saving, route optimisation and network development. You will also provide support to the broader business and be the in-house expert for all things logistics. A background in plant or branch logistics would be highly valued. More important is your ability to work across a large region with multiple internal customers, balance a complex P+L, control costs, provide logistics though leadership and help drive the overall performance of the business.
