An opportunity to work within the Procurement function of a leading multi-site logistics business, managing end to end procurement of facilities goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships both externally with suppliers and internally with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide a skilled negotiation service, to minimise expenditure but maximise value-added advantages including areas of cost avoidance.
  • Use best practice sourcing and evaluation techniques, using market intelligence, benchmarking, market testing, competitive tendering, pre-qualification, evaluation, and recommendation of potential suppliers.
  • Develop service level agreements and key performance indicators to monitor and measure suppliers against pre-determined targets as part of ongoing supplier contract management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Facilities category experience within a Procurement Function of a multi-site organisation, ideally with experience of dealing with multiple vendors.
  • Minimum Level 4 CIPS qualified and/or relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Driving licence - must be able to travel to multi-site locations.
