Summary: An exciting opportunity to join a growing business in the food sector, taking responsibility for sourcing and procurement, managing suppliers and inventory levels across the product ranges to ensure cost, quality and compliance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with production schedules and company goals, collaborating with cross functional teams.
- Source and evaluate new suppliers of raw materials and ingredients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast material needs.
- Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for improved purchasing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Degree in supply chain, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in managing purchasing or procurement within the food manufacturing industry.
