Fantastic opportunity in the area for a CPC qualified Transport / Warehouse management professional to join a fast moving and dynamic 3PL operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day transport and warehouse operations
  • Ensuring the provision of a first-class service in the most cost-effective manner
  • Efficient management of vehicle scheduling and the maximisation of vehicle utilisation
  • Manage the receiving / despatch of goods in line with customer needs while ensuring individual and team KPI's are met
  • Ensure that all inventory is accounted for and stored correctly
  • Recruitment, retention and training of the Warehouse and Transport teams

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Track record in a similar role within a customer centric transport and warehouse operation
  • Transport Manager CPC is essential
  • Proven experience of delivering against agreed budgets and KPI's
  • Ensuring site compliance with all relevant employment / transport legislation
  • Proven leadership abilities with the presence and charisma to lead a sizeable team
  • An understanding of CI techniques, KPI management, Employment Law and H&S legislation
