Role: L&D Compliance Administrator

Location: Kettering

Salary: £27,000 per annum + Corporate Benefits Package

Reporting Line: Reports directly to the L&D Regulatory Management

Key Accountabilities & Day-to-Day Work Outputs:

  • Departmental Team Scaling: Partnering closely with the Group Director to establish, test, and document our central L&D structures as the team expands.
  • Master Diary Coordination: Scheduling and managing our centralised training calendars, ensuring courses are optimally populated.
  • Depot & Client Liaison: Coordinating directly with regional transport desks to identify compliance tracking, ensuring staff are booked onto refresher modules well ahead of credential expiry dates.
  • Course Logistics & Event Management: Organising classroom materials, invigilating formal examinations, managing student files, and coordinating group catering/lunch provisions on site.
  • Statutory Portal Maintenance: Maintaining our data integrity across external regulatory portals including the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and JAUPT.
  • Registry Uploads: Taking administrative ownership of post-course metrics, ensuring completed Driver CPC hours and technical safety modules are uploaded instantly to protect the group's licences.
  • B2B Commercial Support: Managing incoming external delegate bookings for income-generating courses (e.g., ADR packages). Verifying that deposits and invoices are cleared before releasing formal joining instructions.
  • Team Versatility: Adhering to our core operational principle that 'no job is too small,' supporting document creation, answering inbound lines, and assisting the management heads during rollout weeks.

Mandatory Candidate Requirements:

  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data handling with a zero-tolerance approach to trailing errors.
  • IT Competency: Advanced proficiency across the Microsoft Office 365 matrix (specifically shared Outlook calendars, detailed Word formatting, and active Excel tracking).
  • Communication Skills: Superior professional written and verbal English skills to confidently liaise with external regulatory bodies and corporate clients.
  • Education Level: Minimum of 5x GCSEs Grade C/4 or equivalent (including English & Maths).
