Our client are continuing to Delivery Team Leader within our Operations team, supporting the delivery of large-scale contracts.
This is a hands-on team leader role, focused on helping the team deliver a high standard of service, accurate reporting and day-to-day operational support.
You will help guide the team, support colleagues with workload priorities and ensure key processes are completed on time and to the required standard.
Role
Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and timely communication with clients and operating partners to support a high standard of service.
Manage POD performance, ensuring PODs are captured, accurate and returned within the contracted timescale.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of proof of delivery status.
Process and track returns, escalating where appropriate.
Manage debrief performance through proactive haulier engagement and internal process improvement.
Manage delivery exceptions, refusals and discrepancies, through to resolution.
Handle claims in line with RHA Conditions of Carriage, ensuring they are investigated, progressed and closed within the required timescales, escalating where appropriate.
Maintain accurate records and databases to provide a clear audit trail for transactions with clients and operating partners.
Create and maintain reports as required, ensuring data accuracy and timely distribution.
Provide general support to the contract team and wider Operations team as required.
Support the day-to-day coordination of the Post Delivery team, helping to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
Help guide the team with workload planning, daily priorities and general queries.
Manage team performance day-to-day, setting clear priorities, allocating workload effectively and ensuring the team successfully manage any service issues.
Oversee day-to-day service delivery across the team, ensuring queries, returns, PODs and debriefs are handled promptly and to the required standard.
Support the set-up, integration and onboarding of new systems, ensuring the team uses them correctly and maintain accurate, up-to-date data across all customers.
Arrange team cover during holidays, absence or busy periods.
Key Skills Previous administration, customer service or operations experience.
Experience of supporting or guiding colleagues in a team environment would be beneficial.
Strong administration and data entry skills.
Good IT skills, including experience using Windows 10 in a business environment.
Clear and professional communication skills, including a polite telephone manner.
Good organisation skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
Confidence in dealing with clients, operating partners and internal colleagues.
