About the Role: We are on the hunt for a dynamic Head of Warehouse to join our senior operations team. You will oversee our warehousing operations across a site near Uttoxeter as the main location, Cheltenham (biweekly visit), and a site in Spain (once a quarter visit), ensuring efficiency, performance, and the highest standards of service in everything we do.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will drive performance through continuous improvement, champion a 'right first time' approach, and empower teams to consistently exceed expectations. You will take ownership of operational KPIs, budgets, and resource planning to ensure we meet and surpass our goals-today and into the future.
What You Will Do:
- Take full ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations across multiple in-house sites
- Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse Managers and Supervisors to deliver best-in-class execution
- Manage labour, engineering, and parts forecasting to ensure cost-effective, high-performance operations
- Own and manage weekly and monthly budgets, driving accountability across your teams
- Champion continuous improvement-identifying opportunities, challenging the norm, and delivering lasting impact
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (Sales, Transport, Asset & Project Management) to deliver operational excellence
- Lead on health and safety compliance to keep our people and customers safe
- Shape short, medium, and long-term operational strategies in line with wider business objectives
