Salary: circa £45,000 plus benefits
Summary: Working with a well established manufacturing business, part of a global Group, you will be responsible for managing Customer Services and worldwide Export. Liaising with customers, government border agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient customs compliance and export operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership to a small team, providing motivation, training and development to optimise team potential.
- Manage customer service and export operations, taking a hands on approach and taking corrective actions where applicable.
- Arranging logistics providers, export certifications and commissions, managing customs procedures and assisting with pricing enquiries.
- Point of contact for trade compliance, customs and Export control procedures and trade finance.
Skills and Experience:
- 5 years experience in a similar Export leadership role
- Proven depth of knowledge in global export customs and compliance
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills
- Demonstrated commercial understanding
- IT knowledge; MS Office and ERP systems
