Summary
To efficiently plan deliveries to retail outlets across the UK and Ireland utilising all mediums of transport (Parcels - Vans - HGV Fleet), own fleet, parcel carriers, pallet carriers, and 3PL.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage deliveries across own fleet, 3PL, parcel, pallet, and offshore operations.
- Produce daily transport plans to support warehouse operations.
- Manage a 3m annual transport budget, ensuring cost-effective and compliant delivery.
- Optimise routes, driver hours, and resources in line with legal and safety requirements.
- Monitor OTIF, cost-to-serve, and KPIs, recommending improvements.
- Provide performance reporting and support continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- 3+ years' transport planning experience within FMCG.
- Strong UK road network knowledge.
- Experience with PTV or Paragon.
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
- Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills.
