Location: Egham/hybrid working
Salary: £35,000.00 - £40,000 + 10% bonus
Summary: Our client is a leading international logistics provider, offering integrated solutions across freight forwarding, supply chain management and value-added services. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Inside Sales Representative to join their UK Business Development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market and customer research to identify new business opportunities
- Identify, target and qualify potential customers, including financial credit checks
- Make targeted outbound calls to generate and qualify sales leads
- Support Business Development Sales Managers and Executives with administration and data analysis
- Maintain accurate and up to date records in Dynamics CRM (training provided)
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of customer sales materials
- Produce and support monthly Commercial management reports (training provided)
- Analyse sales and customer data to support growth initiatives
- Support BD campaigns and commercial initiatives
- Build effective working relationships with internal teams including Operations, Finance and Product
- Attend internal Commercial and Business Development meetings
- Leverage the service network and capabilities to support successful client wins
Experience:
- Experience working within the logistics industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence making outbound calls and engaging with customers
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience using CRM systems (Dynamics CRM preferred - training provided)
- Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel within the UK when required
