We have a very exciting opportunity to join a European tier 1 automotive supplier in a new role as they establish their UK operation which will play a key role in shaping supply chain performance while driving operational excellence.
As Supply Chain Manager you will have proven experience in establishing & developing supply chain operations and leading supply chain teams to lead and coordinate all Supply Chain activities in line with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Define and implement supply chain strategy in line with company and plant objectives.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain processes: inbound, inventory, outbound, and production planning.
- Demonstrated experience in a supply chain management role, ideally within a matrix manufacturing organisation.
- Experience gained within the automotive sector is highly desirable.
- Project management skills and experience in start up environments/setting up supply chain operations.
- Master's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent education or experience.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role, 5 years in a Logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of Excel is essential.
